Founder Matthew Abels
Mr. Abels has been practicing criminal law since 2004. He began his career as a prosecutor in Indianapolis. He has the experience that is necessary to be a successful criminal defense attorney. He graduated in the top 1% of his law school class. He chose to pursue a career in criminal law, because he has a passion for protecting the rights of citizens. He has represented thousands of defendants for all types of criminal offenses ranging from misdemeanor offenses and low level felonies to major felony offenses including murder. Mr. Abels has won a number of major felony cases at trial and obtained dismissals of all charges for many clients.
Mr. Abels represents individuals throughout central Indiana. He regularly practices in Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks, Hancock, Boone, Johnson, Madison, Morgan and Shelby Counties, but he has also represented individuals throughout the entire state of Indiana.
